Over 12 Destinations

Heliskiing was invented in Canada. Through the years lots of new heli skiing spots were born around the world. The main and central destinations are

  • Italian Alps like Courmayeur, Valgrisenche, Madesimo and many more.
  • Sweden (Abisko), USA, Canada, Kamtschatka or Nepal

Since the beginnings in Gressoney on the southern side of Monte Rosa we added in the meantime more travel destinations and local offices. Being one of very few in this business we are able to offer heliskiing and freerides completely at first hand.

Trust in your technical Level

Many skiers and snowboarders are insecure, weather they are good enough to fulfill the requirements. Surely you should bring some experience in skiing or snowboarding to do heliskiing, but you do not need to be a pro to enjoy a nice heli skiing adventure!
You find more information to the topic –Requirements for heliskiing- here: Requirements for Heliskiing and Heli Boarding

Safety and experience

The health and well-being of our customers has the utmost importance during our heliskiing and skiing trips. Our pilots have many years of experience.
The specifically established helicopter service, GMH Helicopter Service S.R.L., includes own machines. Independence from others is therefore one of our biggest advantages. The heli teams contribute expertise and flight competence from decade-long experience.

Heli skiing starts at 420 Euro

We have an extensive program and lots of travel destinations. It depends on the region where and how often the helicopter starts. Necessary costs for accommodation, ski pass, material and safety equipment are partially included in our program. At the main destinations in the alps we offer different one-day to multi-day events. In Monte Rosa in Gressoney, our event “My first heliski day” starts with 420 Euro per Person. A multi-days trip in Gressoney, with Zermatt Tour and a nice ****hotel begins at 1850 Euro.

Attentions for heli skiing
"You should always practice this winter sport accompanied by a trained mountain and ski guide. It benefits from its local knowledge and experience with weather and snow conditions. An advantage is the journey in small groups. Here the ski guide can pay attention to the participants. In addition, the fun factor increases with the shared experience in deep snow. The following checklist helps with travel planning. The helicopterski checklist contains the following questions:

  • Is a ski pass available or needed/li>
  • Are accommodations booked and is the arrival times scheduled
  • Is Catering provided during the activities
  • The process on site clear
  • Is Safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and ABS backpack) available
