Chamonix, the “Freeride-capital” of the Alps, does not need many words. The town is located at the foot of Mont Blanc. There are many reasons why freeriders all around the world are enjoying the winter here. Big turns and steep couloir were skied in Chamonix, when other places in the Alps still had been untouched. Our Heli ski chamonix destination is located in the nearby Courmayeur. Since heli ski is not possible in all of France. After skiing, you can enjoy a beer in one of the many bars in Chamonix.
What’s special about Heliskiing in Chamonix
Chamonix is like the Mekka of the freeride scene and offers a wide potential of freeride possibilities that often end in a convival evening. Stories from the many bars in Chamonix would take a whole book to explain. Thanks to the nearby Courmayeur (through Mont Blanc tunnel), we are in no time in one of the best heliski areas in the Alps. The icing of the cake is the direct proximity to the highest mountain of the Alps, the Mont Blanc with its 4810m.

Thanks to the influences from the north and the south and the frequent accumulations at the Mont Blanc massif, we can expect rich snowfalls during the winter. From January to mid-April you will often encounter here the desired powder snow. In spring there are ideal conditions of firn.
