Thanks to the altitude of the area around Grosseney and the frequent accumulation of southern snow on the Monte Rosa massif, there is always to expect productive snowfalls. From end of December to beginning of April you will encounter the desired powder snow. You can ski and snowboard there often until May with ideal conditions of firn.
Being located on the southern side of the Monte Rosa, Gressoney is for many people still like the end of the skiing world. For heliskier and freerider with experience it is the gateway to paradise – also because of the pleasant surprises and adventures. Our heliskiing area extends from the Matterhorn to the Breithorn until the southeastern side of the Monte Rosa. With over 20 landing sites, over 60 possible descents and the unique high mountain landscape, this region has its own and incomparable charm.

Chalet du Lys Hotel & SPA is 2 km from Gressoney La Trinité, and just 150 m from the Saint Anna cable-car at the bottom ofMonte Rosa. It offers free Wi-Fi and a spa.

The Chalet is in the village of Tschaval at the end of the regional road 44. A sportshop, a small grocery shop and a cash-machine are just across the road. Rooms have panoramic mountain views of the Saint Anna Slopes. The spa is complete with hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath.There is also a library with games and toys for children, and a free ski deposit.

The restaurant specialises in local dishes, and the Irish pub on site serves the best draught beers until late. Breakfast is a sweetand savoury buffet.

Hotel Lo Scoiattolo is next to the little historic square of Gressoney La Trinitè, in the Monterosa ski area. The Dufour is a characteristic Alpine hotel next to Punta Jolanda chair elevator, in the Monterosa Ski Resort. It offers a wellness center, a traditional restaurant, free parking and WiFi.

Then we go by helicopter to the large heliski area. The Matterhorn to the southeast side of the Monterosa grasps this area. More than 20 landing sites, more than 60 downhill possibilities are waiting. In addition a unique high mountain landscape. During the tour you can visit the Lys glacier or Verra glacier.
