The small village La Thuile in the Italian Aosta Valley has always been an important connection point for the French Tarentaise Valley. Our heliski area reaches from Ruitor on 3.480m to Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc massif. The area allows to experience a distinctive and extensive heliski La Thuile program and makes the heat beat faster even for experienced heliskiers.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT HELISKI LA THUILE

Our heliski area reaches from Ruintor on 3.480m to Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc massif. The area allows to experience a distinctive and extensive heliski La Thuile program and makes the heart beat faster even for experienced heliskiers. Descents to the French side towards La Rosiere are also possible from some landing places. Almost every spot in the area offers a unique panoramic view to the Mont Blanc, Grand Combin and the Monte Rosa massif. The ski resort Espace San Bernardo La Thuile (I) and La Rosiere (F) with its over 160 piste kilometres is well known for a fully developed freeride area. Skiing days can be died away in first-class restaurants in La Thuile with a good bottle of wine.

USE THE WINTER – THE TIME TO VISIT

Southern and western accumulations transform the area already in the early days of the season into a real powder paradise. From mid-December to mid-March you will encounter the desired powder snow. Thanks to the heliskiing possibilities you can ski and snowboard here often until mid-April with ideal conditions of firn.

Only Ski has 3 rentals shops: one located inside the Planibel Hotel complex, one located in front of Bosco Express lift and one at the arrival of the main gondola at Les Suches 2200meters.

Le Miramonti Hotel & Wellness is in the center of La Thuile and a 5-minute walk from the ski slopes. It has spa facilities and an indoor pool. Rooms offer a TV and free Wi-Fi.

Surrounded by green forest, family-run Chalet Eden is 200 m from Espace Piccolo San Bernardo cable car. Set 700 m from La Thuile, it offers free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at the Chalet all have wooden furniture and an LCD TV. The private bathroom is equipped with bathrobes, freetoiletries and a hairdryer. Room service is available. Le Coq Au Vin organic restaurant, open every day, serves classic Italian cuisine and specialties of the Aosta Valley.
